Summer Interns 2014: Meet Dana
My name is Dana Kleinjan and I’m from a small town in Minnesota. I am a Senior Education major at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. I have a passion for education and love working with and around kids. I came to work for Opelousas and HFO this summer because they have a piece of my heart. Education is something that has always been very important to me and I truly believe in HFO’s mission. Having spent a few weeks here over Spring Break, I have personally seen how HFO impacts kids and what a great organization it is. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of HFO and work within the community of Opelousas.
While I’m here I hope to serve HFO in whatever ways that they may need me. I feel so incredibly blessed to be given this opportunity and am excited to see what God has in store for the next 6 weeks, both for me and for HFO.
