Rodney Palmer graduates Home of Grace
Rodney Palmer was going door to door looking for work after hurricane Gustav ripped through Opelousas. Little did he know that this storm would change his life forever.
Rodney's "old school" work ethic became a crucial asset to HFO in helping families in Opelousas pick up the pieces after the storm. It became clear that the Lord was working in Rodney's life. Rodney began to share his story about his 20 year battle with drugs. I was able to tell Rodney my story about God pulling me out of addition and hopelessness and hold out the option for him to go to the Home of Grace in Vancleave, MS. It took Rodney only one day to come back and tell me that he felt like he needed to go. After a short three months Rodney has graduated the Home of Grace surrounded by his family. Rodney's joy is best described in his own words, "I'm as happy as a kid n' a candy store." Please pray for Rodney as he comes home and continues his battle, and if your looking for an excellent yard man please let me know.
