Our community wouldn’t be the same without them... If in 20 years Opelousas is known for its love and generosity it will be in large part because of the investment HFO has made in our youth.”
Hope for Opelousas is known by neighbors and the people of Opelousas at-large by the three brightly colored houses in which we operate. As members of "The Hill" neighborhood, HFO has made a larger, brighter mark on our neighbors and friends. With the help of our staff, our kids and our visiting mission teams, HFO has helped paint and repair many of our neighbors homes. What was once a neighborhood known to be riddled with crime, drugs and prostitution is now a shining light in the city of Opelousas.
