Our summer internship is designed to give you practical experience working in the inner city of Opelousas.  In the eight weeks that you spend at Hope for Opelousas you can expect to learn about the racism, poverty, and education.  As you attempt to love your neighbors you will grow in your ability to love and to be loved by those around you.

Summer interns will work with our resource center here at HFO connecting needs and resources in the community while also being a resource themselves for local ministries. We would also love for you to be able to share your gifts and passions with us and the community.  Because we are a small organization we can work with you to fulfill internship requirements for college credit.  Whether you are in education or advertising we can provide opportunities to fit your skill set.
